Pros and cons of Distance Meter Free app for iPhone and iPad

Distance Meter Free app good for

We use it today and it was very accurate!! It worked easy for me!! And people saying when u close out it doesnt work. When you open it back up click RESUME!!! And it catches back up with you!! Im happy and I will continue using it!! At first I thought the distance was going too fast but when people think it says theyve gone .5 miles so fast it says .05!! Read!!
I used this app twice this week and it works for me. I generally walk a mile in 15-16 minutes and this app was on the money. However, when walking inside and lose Internet connection, I will lose time.
I am a NCAA Division 1 track/cross country athlete, and I 100% approve of this app. It is a great source of pace, total miles, and total time.
Once you learn how to use this app, it works flawlessly. I use the pay version, and have done so for the past two years. I turn on location services, start the app and start running. Works well every time, shows me my pace in mins/mile, show my route on the map, and I can then upload my runs to my Track My Fitness account! Ive not had any accuracy issues. App does stop and reset if you open another app (it must not run in the background), but Im running, not texting, talking on the phone, or using some other app on the phone. If youre a serious runner, this is the app!

Some bad moments

App keep crashing, when it does work -it doesnt update the data correctly. Timer is okay (when the app doesnt crash)
App looks appealing, but it doesnt work. I checked my distances with an expensive pedometer, the app said I had walked 5.6 kms, and the real distance was only 1.2... Plus... When I pulled out my iPhone to see how fast I was walking, it said I was going 245 Km/hr.... Dont waste your time with this one
It doesnt run in the background, so if you do something else (like change music) it doesnt track your activity until you come back.
I tested the app on a walk I know is close to 10km - the app told me I had gone almost 15km. I wont be using it again - it wasnt even close to accurate.
Just did a 20km bike ride and this app measures 11km. I am removing it. You should too.
I went for a 2.5km run and the distance reader says Ive only run half a mile. This app is really inaccurate Im deleting it.
